These terms are the agreement between you and Hollr. By using the site — as a guest or with an account — you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Hollr. Last updated September 2026.
Who can use Hollr
Hollr is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. By using the site you confirm that you are at least 18. If we learn that someone under 18 is using the service, their access will be removed immediately.
The service
Hollr provides free one-to-one text, photo and voice chat between strangers. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we don't guarantee the service will always be available or uninterrupted.
Your nickname and account
You chat under a nickname, not your real identity. Guest access is temporary and tied to your device; a registered account lets you return with the same nickname. You're responsible for activity that happens under your nickname, so don't share your account.
Acceptable behaviour
You must not harass, threaten or abuse anyone; send sexually explicit content to people who didn't ask for it; ask for money, gift cards or financial details; impersonate others; share anyone's private information; post illegal content; or use Hollr for anything involving minors. Automated abuse, spam and ban evasion are prohibited.
Content you send
You keep ownership of what you send, but you grant us the right to store, transmit and display it to deliver the chat. You confirm you have the right to share anything you send. Don't send content you wouldn't want a stranger to keep — anything you send can be screenshotted by the recipient.
Moderation
Messages and photos may be checked by automated systems (including AI) to detect scams, harassment and illegal content. Users can block and report each other. Repeated rule-breaking leads to strikes and can result in being hidden from the people list or removed from the service entirely.
Other users
Conversations are between you and strangers we don't verify or endorse. We are not responsible for what other users say, send or do. Never share personal details, send money, or meet anyone without taking your own precautions — see our safety guide.
Advertising
Hollr is free and supported by advertising. Ads may be provided by third parties (such as Google AdSense) who may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy.
Termination
We may suspend or remove access at any time, with or without notice, for breaking these terms or for any behaviour that puts other users at risk. You can stop using Hollr at any time.
Disclaimers and liability
Hollr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the service, from other users' conduct, or from content you encounter in chat.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Hollr after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new date.
